Institutional Strategies for Knowledge Valorisation

This section provides participatory resources to help universities reflect on their current Knowledge Valorisation (KV) practices and translate the findings into strategic priorities and actions.

It includes guidelines to implement two complementary workshops. The University-level Policy Workshop, which examines KV from individual and organisational perspectives, and the Ecosystem-level Policy Workshop, which brings together QH actors to explore KV across the wider ecosystem.

Their results can provide an evidence base for developing or updating institutional strategies and KV action plan. The two workshops can be implemented separately or together, depending on the university’s needs.

Objectives

Reflect on current KV practices and institutional capacity.
Identify strategic priorities and opportunities.
Engage relevant internal and external actors in strategic reflection.
Develop practical actions and recommendations for strengthening KV.
Provide input for institutional strategies to complete an action plan for the institution.
