Why this Toolkit?

Impactful research and innovation has become a requirement for both public- and private-funded research entities to ensure that their efforts return to society in the form of acceptable, useful, reusable, and relevant results addressing existing societal challenges.

Thus, they must find ways to incorporate the attainment of impactful results to their academic, reputational, talent-attraction, and resource-generation goals and actions.

However, not all are able to transition at the same pace or with the same approaches to this new scenario. Impact-related measures or valorisation of results have many approaches both across disciplines and cultures, there is no one-fits-all approach.

KALEIDOS Toolkit aims at providing adaptative tools and approaches that:

integrate in a comprehensive process;
and enhance organizational change towards new ways of valorising knowledge based on open science principles.
are responsive to the local relevant variables;
contribute to train skilled professionals for them to lead and facilitate processes within their organization and with the research ecosystem;
